Creating Your First Gallery
Galleries are how you deliver photos to clients. Here's how to create your first one.
1. Create the gallery
Go to Gallery in the sidebar and click Create Gallery (or the + button). Fill in:
A title for the gallery
The event date
A gallery URL name
If you're on the Pro Max plan or above, you can also turn on Face Filter here, which automatically groups photos by the people in them once you start uploading.
📸 Screenshot needed: the Create Gallery form with title, event date, and URL fields.
2. Find your galleries later
Go to Gallery in the sidebar to see every gallery as a card — thumbnail, title, event date, view count, and published/draft status. Click any card to open it.
📸 Screenshot needed: the Gallery list showing gallery cards.
3. Understand sections
Inside a gallery, the Collection tab is where you organize photos into sections. There are two kinds:
Collection — a regular photo grid section (e.g. "Ceremony", "Reception", "Portraits")
Featured Video — a section that holds exactly one video, shown prominently instead of a photo grid
A new gallery starts with one Collection ready to go — you can rename it, add more sections, and reorder them however you like.
📸 Screenshot needed: the Collection tab with the "Add category" button and the New Collection / New Featured Video choice.
Keep gallery titles and URLs simple and specific — like the client's name and event, e.g. "Sarah & Alex Wedding" — so they're easy to find later in your gallery list.
